I absolutely loved the charming decor of the cottage. It had a cozy and homey feel, which made me feel instantly comfortable. The general areas like the living room and dining room were spacious and well-kept. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the cottage, especially with no stairs to worry about. It made my stay incredibly convenient and enjoyable.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation better for senior people would be a handrail in the shower. It would provide that extra bit of support and safety, especially for those with mobility issues.

I stayed at Templehall Cottage for a week and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep. The house itself was spotless and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of cleaning supplies. The sea views from the rear of the property were even better than I expected. The beds were comfortable, the linen was clean, and the towels were fluffy. I also appreciated the private off-road parking and the lovely garden with outdoor seating.
I do recommend this hotel.

The en-suite shower room could benefit from some maintenance to address the mould issue.

The quality and standard of appliances, equipment, and furnishings were excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was a good supply of cleaning materials provided. the sea views from the rear of the property were even better than expected, offering a lovely backdrop for our stay. the location was perfect, with plenty of walks right from the doorstep and lots to do in the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed exploring Coldingham, the Priory, and the coastal walks to Eyemouth and St Abbs head.
The en suite shower room had some mold, which was a bit off-putting. the decor was a bit outdated and could use some updating.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our city trip. We enjoyed the walks that were easily accessible right from our doorstep, and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. the views of the distant sea and farmland were a nice bonus. the rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the cottage and the good quality linen and fluffy towels provided.
The en suite shower room had a bit of mold, which was not pleasant. the decor of the cottage was a bit outdated, and the temperature and control markings on the oven/grill were worn away, making it difficult to use.

Great views, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, well-equipped kitchen, good TV with Netflix. Private parking and free WiFi.
Towels were offered, but I guess they forgot to mention they were the size of handkerchiefs. So handy for a quick nose blow!
